POSTPONED. District to replace sanitary sewers in Westmont alleys

Update July, 26: The project has been postponed to the week of Aug. 2.

Beginning the week of July 26,  the District will start replacing approximately 720 feet of sanitary sewer in Westmont. The construction consists of open cut replacement of 344 feet of 8 inch sanitary sewer pipe running north and south in the alley between Grant Street and  Adams Street. The project also includes the replacement of 382 feet of 10 inch sanitary sewer pipe running east and west crossing Washington Street between Adams Street and Hudson Street. This work will take place in the alleys north of Burlington Avenue and south of Irving Street. It is anticipated the project will be completed during the last week of August.
