Eisenhower Junior High School Tours Treatment Plant

Last week, the District hosted tours of the wastewater treatment plant for 6th graders from Eisenhower Jr High School in Darien. More than 160 students had the opportunity to see firsthand how the treatment plant operates. During their field trip, students also visited the DuPage Water Commission, the Elmhurst Quarry and SCARCE to learn more about water, how it is treated and what we can do to conserve it.
