Job Opening – Operator

The District currently has an opening for a full-time Operator position at the Wastewater Treatment Center. The position performs the daily operational tasks required to operate the Wastewater Treatment Center and reports directly to the Operations Supervisor. The pay range for the position is $24.80 to $37.19/hour (placement within this range is based on qualifications).

Please note that District employees must reside within a 30-minute travel time from the District’s Wastewater Treatment Center located at 5003 Walnut Avenue, Downers Grove, Illinois, and must possess an Illinois Driver’s License in good standing. A successful candidate must comply with these requirements within six months of employment.
