In observance of Labor Day, the District’s administration center, located at 2710 Curtiss Road in Downers Grove, will be closed Monday, Sept. 5, 2022. The Downers Grove Sanitary District is seeking applicants for the position of full-time Lab Analyst through Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022. The Lab Analyst’s responsibilities include sample collection and laboratory analysis for biosolids, stream, surcharge, industrial, and plant monitoring. Today the Responsible Flushing Alliance (RFA) announced that July 1 is officially #FlushSmart day, dedicated to practicing smart flushing habits by preventing non-flushable materials from entering our wastewater systems.
